Cottage in the Woods

My family started a tradition of doing a summer weekend getaway 2 years ago. We would look for an airbnb in the NY/NJ area, somewhere near a trail, and spend the weekend together having barbecue outdoors, admiring others’ beautifully decorated home, and enjoy each other’s company. I had just gotten my camera when we took our first trip and I had brought my camera with me to do some test shots. Turns out there were a lot of cool things to capture on camera in other people’s homes, especially old ones.

The past summer we picked a 200 year old cottage nested in the woods in Wingdale, NY.
