In Training

Anya. July 2017

Growing up, active was never an adjective that described me. Despite this, yoga came naturally to me in recent years as an uplifting inspiration. I started practicing yoga to heal the body and later became intrigued by its transformative powers to the mind.

My late discovery to movement serves as a constant reminder that 'Every journey of a thousand miles begins with one step,' and it’s never too late to start something new. ANYA was home to my first Antigravity experience, and it helped me regain what I thought I had lost - levity, curiosity, fearlessness, and the urge to fly high. I decided to deepen my practice by completing my Antigravity FUNdamentals teacher training.

It was inspiring to be back in a classroom (no really), it was inspiring to hear how others discover Antigravity and yoga and their journey, and it was was inspiring to know that you can never stop learning. And I want to inspire others too.

And with that I want to share my favorite Antigravity quote, which is what I always use as an ending remark for each of my classes -

“Remember, in life hidden in the forces that pull us down, is always the energy to lift us up”
