Bryce Canyon National Park. July 2017
postcard from Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon is the first National Park I have been to in the States. When we were driving into the park, and the park ranger handed me the map, I was in awe. On the map was a caption that reads "Poetry in Stone", and in the background is a A2- sized image of the Bryce Amphitheater covered in snow. All the hoodoos (that's what the rocks are called) have on white hats and white dresses; reflecting the bright late April sun. I knew I wanted to come back to see the winter dressing with my own eyes.
The summer heat was brutal, but the views were well worth it. Simply beautiful and breathtaking.
Would I do this Peekaboo Loop and Navajo Loop trail again in the 90 degree heat? Hell yeah. It was worth the swollen fingers.
