Bon Appetit Easiest Chocolate Birthday Cake

Not celebrating a birthday but hey, why not? No fancy ingredients, just pure goodness :)

Since quarantine I’ve had a lot of time on my hands and my youtube feed became overwhelmed with cooking and cat videos. I came across the video of Chris making this chocolate cake in the Bon Appetit kitchen and decided to indulge myself in some desserts.

The cake came out moist and is just the right amount of sweet. I’ll probably give some healthier frosting options a try, but I doubt I can come up with anything better than a ganache based frosting 🧁
